“Lewis Colpitts was my grandfather and his farm was at Middle Coverdale, Albert County, N,B. about two miles up the Petitcodiac River from the bridge across the river at Moncton. He was born in 1813 at Middle Coverdale and married Catherine Steeves of Hillsborough.”95
