From the Elmer Colpitts papers:
“Aunt Mary Pearson was the third wife of Solomon Pearson and at the time of their marriage he was 48 years old and she was 26. When I first knew about them, they lived at Lulu Isand, B.C. Canada ( an island in the Fraser River). They had one son Thomas Pearson who lived at Bellingham, at the time of his death. He had no children. I never knew any members of the Pearson family.”95
