Aged Resident of Steeves Mountain Dies at Age of 78
Manley Jones, aged resident of Steeves Mountain, passed away at the home of his brother Luther M. Jones, Berry Mills, last evening. He was 78 years of age.
Mr. Jones was born on Steeves Mountain and was one of the district's most highly esteemed residents. Many throughout the vicinity will hear of his death with deep regret.
The funeral will be held at 2:30 Thursday afternoon with service at the Berry Mills Church. Burial will be made in the Steeves Mountain Cemetery.
