Warren was born around the cusp between father Abner’s 2 marriages. The 1901 census lists his birthday as Aug. [day hard to read], 1886. He’s listed as age 5 on the 1891 census which would suggest a birth year of 1885 if he was born in August. Abner’s first wife died Aug 27, 1885 suggesting it may have been from complications of childbirth. Furthermore her death announcement says she left 9 children and Warren was the 9th child.
