“Lillian D. Morton SUSSEX, New Brunswick - The death of Lillian Doris Morton, age 84, of Sussex occurred Monday, August 8, 2005 in Moncton. Born in Coverdale, she was a daughter of the late James Riley and Kate (Colpitts) Stiles. Lillian was a wellknown hairdresser and businesswom an where she operated the Fashionette Beauty Salon. She was active for many years at the Sussex Golf and Curling Club and the Chamber of Commerce. Lillian is survived by her husband, of 57 years, James "Joe" Morton of Sussex; sons, Richard (Diane) Morton of Riverview and Wayne (Ellen) Reeder of Cornelius, Oregon; sisters, Mildred Trueman of Hampton, Helen O'Blenis of Salisbury and Marjorie Matthews of Kelowna, BC; brothers, Fred (Sylvia) Stiles of St. Albert, AB and Bob (Mae) Stiles of Pembroke, ON; grandchildren, Andy and Scott Reeder, Carolyn McNaughton, Alex, Ian and Craig Morton; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her former husband, Stewart Reeder; brother, Dr. Esmond Stiles; and sister, Bernis Steeves. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex (506 433-2133) on Thursday from 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 12, 2005 at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Reverend Leo Martin officiating.
