“Also on Daniel Johnson's Vital Stats, I found references to W.H. Colpitts/H. Colpitts having a blacksmith shop in Albert Co. at an earlier time. One of his apprentices, Charles A. McLane/McLean bought him out some time in the 1860s. I cannot find William in the 1871 Albert Co. Census, he must have moved to Westmorland by that time.”
