Notes for Matthew Kerr
inscribed on another face of his parents stone:
“Our Parents, MATTHEW. son of Hugh & Elizabeth Kerr. died at Canning Dec 18 1893 Aged 76 Y’rs. Eunice Ann Ells. His Wife Died at Canning Oct 18 1857 Aged 35 Y’rs.”58
The other two faces of the stone are blank so it’s unknown who were the people who had the stone made for “Our Parents” and “Our Foreparents”. Perhaps there were daughters who are in the cemetery under another last name?
