“Nina trained as a nurse. Soon after graduation she went out west where she nursed families in remote parts of Kansas and Utah. She married a Kansas native, Ashley Purton who was an engineer. They moved to Salt Lake City, Utah and raised four children, Henry, Frances, John and Catherine.”
