Connecticut

This map shows Connecticut (capital city of Hartford) in relation to Shediac Cape, New BrunswickReverend A.F.B. Burt moved with his wife Matilda Sutherland and son Percy from Shediac Cape to Connecticut in 1917.

This detail from the red rectangle in the previous map shows Hartford, Wethersfield and Waterbury. Reverend Burt and Matilda lived in Wethersfield where he was the Rector of Trinity Church until his death in 1920.  Matilda and son Percy later lived in Hartford.  Frances Cecil Burt was a nurse in Waterbury Hospital, Waterbury after her service in the Army Nurse Corps in WWI. She was naturalized in 1922.  She later married Harry Edward Givan in the Trinity Church in Waterbury in 1929 and moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
