After being ordained a Priest (in the Diocese of Huron) in 1886, Auguste Frank Barrow Burt was Incumbent in Alvinston, Brooke Township, Lambton County from 1886 to '87. He married Matilda Sutherland in Hamilton, Wentworth County in 1886 and brought her to live in Alvinston for a year before moving to Ridgetown, Kent County.
